Speaking to e247mag at one of the locations at Sabo, Ikorodu, Akande Obesere said he decided to turn the r*pe scandal story into a movie because he had promised his fans and admirers that they would get to see the whole truth of the r*pe scandal in the movie.
He said, “I’ve promised people that the r*pe scandal issue will be shot into movie for people to see and know the truth of the whole matter”.
The movie which will be titled “Stop Sebe” is produced by veteran filmmaker, Adio Majester, directed by Abbey Lanre, starring Akin Olaiya, Olaiya Igwe, Adio Majester, Regina Chukwu, Abass Akande Obesere, Lizzy Da Silva, Bayo Ogunde, Jide Bello, Aishat Omoge Campus among others.
Obesere said further that though the lady involved cooked up the r*pe story to obtain money from him but eventually, the truth has been revealed.
However, we learnt that the movie will first go on cinema during the Christmas and New Year celebrations before it’s released into home video next year.
Remember, the r*pe scandal went viral some months ago when it was reported that the ace Fuji star was arrested by the police.
The matter was later resolved and Obesere released an audio CD on the r*pe scandal story which he titled “Stop Sebe”.
